Taraz Main Mosque

Taraz Main Mosque

The construction of Taraz’s primary mosque began in 2003 when the foundation stone was ceremoniously laid during a visit by the First President of the Republic of Kazakhstan. It took five years to complete this magnificent edifice, and the mosque officially opened its doors to the public in 2008.

The mosque’s grounds cover a total area of 2324.2 square meters, and it offers ample seating to accommodate over 1000 worshippers.

Additionally, the mosque complex includes a two-story building featuring rooms for the imam and naib imam, a conference room, a Quran reading room, a wedding hall, and a dining area, providing a diverse range of facilities to meet the community’s needs.
