Constantino Eleninskiy Cathedral

The Cathedral Church of Constantine and Helena Cathedral is the main temple and Kostanay Rudny diocese. Its construction began in 2002 and was completed in 2005. The construction was made possible thanks to the help of individual entrepreneurs, parishioners and the state. The author of the mosaic above the main entrance to the temple is the famous Kostanay artist Georgy Mikhailovich Sokov.

On July 24, 2003 By the decree of His Holiness Patriarch Alexy II of Moscow and All Russia, the church was granted the status of a cathedral. Archbishop Anthony of the Urals and Guryev consecrated the cathedral on May 16, 2004. The design capacity of the cathedral is 400-450 people. The height of the bell tower with the onion is 25 meters. The first rector of the cathedral until November 16, 2008 was Archpriest Viktor Petrov. The cathedral has a church library and a Sunday school for children.
