The museum, inaugurated in 1995, finds its home within the creative sanctuary of Saken Gumarov, a distinguished member of the Union of Journalists of the USSR and the Union of Artists of Kazakhstan. The museum’s exhibition showcases a treasure trove of his artistic gifts, boasting over 200 paintings, personal artifacts, photographs, and pertinent documents. Among his works, the cycles titled “Bestiary,” “Turkic,” “Abay,” and “Astral” stand out, captivating visitors with their distinctive and evocative charm.
