The Annunciation Cathedral in Pavlodar is the city’s second Orthodox church, situated along the Irtysh River’s embankment.
The cathedral’s architectural style reflects the “Novomoskovsk” style, characterized by red brick arches and vaults. It features seven cupolas, symbolizing the seven sacraments and the seven Ecumenical councils, while an additional three domes represent the Holy Trinity.
The cathedral is enveloped by a park, established in celebration of the third millennium, and within this park, a chapel dedicated to St. Nicholas can also be found, creating a serene and spiritual haven along the riverfront.
