The central regional mosque “Akmeshit-Syrdarya” welcomed its first worshipers in 2008 on the auspicious Muslim holiday of Oraza Ait. This grand mosque offers a spacious sanctuary capable of hosting over 2,000 people, making it a significant place of worship for the local community. The mosque stands on a substantial area spanning 5,257 hectares, serving as a prominent religious institution in the region.
