Baiterek Monument

The “Astana-Baiterek” monument stands as an iconic symbol of independent Kazakhstan and a hallmark of Astana’s skyline. This unique structure, covering an area of 810 square meters, takes the form of a tree, its crowns reaching skyward, culminating in a glass sphere that houses spacious observation rooms. Panoramic elevators transport visitors nearly a hundred meters above the ground, granting them breathtaking views of the city below.

Inside the monument, a detailed model of the new cultural and administrative center of the city is on display. The viewing rooms within the “Astana-Baiterek” monument serve as venues for official viewings and cultural events. The first viewing platform, located 4.5 meters underground and covering 90 square meters, doubles as a mini-gallery, showcasing the artwork of talented Kazakhstani artists.

On the upper viewing platform, spanning 260 square meters, there is a designated area of 90 square meters for buffets, offering visitors an opportunity to savor refreshments while enjoying the panoramic views of the cityscape.
