Kali Yunus Oriental Bath, a magnificent architectural gem of Taraz, beckons with its historical charm. This late 19th-century architectural wonder graces the heart of the city, nestled not far from the renowned Karakhan mausoleum.
The Eastern bathhouse of Kali Yunus owes its existence to the industrious residents of Aulie-Ata, and a small cache of coins discovered near the bath provided a precise timestamp for its construction. The bath served the community through the 1950s, and later, restoration efforts breathed new life into this cultural treasure. In 1982, recognizing its historical and cultural significance, the Kali Yunus bathhouse earned its place on the list of esteemed monuments in the Republic of Kazakhstan.
